This is not an overly tough but very long ride, so only for the fit.  Perfect for flat and mountain terrain training through unique scenery and history. The ride takes you to Sylvanes, the ancient monastery where classic and ancient music displays are presented throughout the summer, through the rougier region, characterised by the strange and beautiful red purple colouring of its mountain sides.  The long stretches of quiet and relatively gentle mountain roads also take you past the lovely village of Montlaur and the nearby Chateau Montaigut, one of a group of 23 castles in the Aveyron that makes up the  Route des Seigneurs du Rouergue.
